My weekend started Friday evening when Hubby and I shared a wonderful evening together. We went to a local tavern,
Taphouse, with over 100 beers
. We happened to be there during happy hour...needless to say we took advantage! Hubs had a beer and I got to build my own margarita (if the choice is beer or margarita...margarita pleeese!). It was DEE-LICOUS!!
Besides the yummy drinks, we shared a wonderful conversation. The tone of this dinner set my whole weekend as well as my "theme".
Mom and I always theme things. Hubs shared with me some of his thoughts that were precious and insightful.
He said, "over the past couple months I have realized how much more important time is compared to money for me."
How true this is as I reflect on my decision to come down to MS. Spend nine hours in the car driving here. One day here. Nine hours back in the car the next day to go back home. three full gas tanks later...BUT as my husband says best which makes me rethink- the money I will have spent to travel down here is nothing compared to the time spent with family.
